Jauws.org has some new hands on deck - i.e. me - and will be receiving some tender love in not much time at all! If I am as efficient as I claim to be, it will be all tidied up for our new folk who I hope will join us next week!

So it occurred to us at JAUWS HQ, that finding the new room might not be so easy (or maybe my directions aren’t good enough >_>), so we thought we’d steal an idea from the Animania staff and make our own video on how to get to the room, from K Building. Enjoy!
Hey there Jauwans!
Apologies for the lateness of this update, as we have been looking into alternate room arrangements for this semester. This has taken longer than I would have liked, but seems to have paid off in the end.
So without further ado, I’d like to announce that WE HAVE A CLUB ROOM! Woooooooo~
The new room is located under the Student Association offices. There are a couple of ways to get there, for you older members, the room is located opposite where the Swamp Bar was. For everyone else, I recommend making your way to the Student Association and either following the conveniently place signs, or asking staff to point you in the right direction.
To celebrate the new room (and start of semester two…kind of…), we will be having another dinner outing at Sushi Bay Penrith at 6pm, after the Thursday Screening.

That’s right, it’s time for the Second (not so) Annual JAUWS Console Gaming Day!
Next Sunday, it’ll be on for n00bs and pwners alike as we bring to you a fun day of gaming and a great way to chill out before the start of Semester 2: The Semestering.
Afterwards we’ll be heading out to dinner at Sushi Bay in Penrith!
Consoles likely to be making an appearance: xbox360, PS3, Wii and a plethora of DS’s. (If you have an extra controller for any of these systems please bring it along to ensure enough controllers for everyone.)
There will also be a Super Secret Prize Give Away, which will be announced on the day.

WHERE: Kingswood Campus, Building P, Rooms 128-129
WHEN: Sunday 20th July, from 9am - 6pm. Dinner from 6pm onwards.
B.Y.O: Consoles, Controllers, Games if you want to.
