I hope everyone had a good break away from uni and all that. Semester 2 is here faster than I would have liked, but it’s here now. Which means screenings and other JAUWS related fun (as well as classes assignments and exams but let’s put that aside for now). A survey has been set up to help choose good screening times that more people can attend and what sort of things you’d like to see. If you could fill if out it would really help us pick the best times to run screenings or other events.

In other news in just under two weeks the Animania Festial will be holding it’s first Sydney event for the year on the 12th of August at the Carlton Crest Hotel. Tickets are $15 at the door. This looks like it’ll be a fun day of cosplay, screenings, workshops and stalls. If you’re coming along don’t forget to drop by our table and say hi!

If you can’t make it to the August event fret not, becaus Animania will be back on the 30th of September until the 1st of October for it’s massive two day event at Sydney Town Hall.
