Attention all JAUWS people!

We’re having a competition to design the coolest badges for the club to sell at Animania and Supanova this year!
What’s in it for you? The Winning entry will receive a badge made of their design, a print run of 24 badges (maybe 48 if it’s really good!), your choice of 5 of our other badges and a Tales from Earthsea poster!
Runner up will get a badge with their design and a choice of 3 of our other badges.

How to enter:
Use the template linked here and your favourite image editor (see the handy diagram below for how to use it) or think up an awesome phrase or concept if you’re not up for Photoshop and email them to Travis(president {at} jauws.org), don’t forget to include your name, email address and membership number!

Competition closes on the 14th of September at midnight.

How to use the template:

1) This is the visible part of the badge place your design here
1 and 2) This is the part that’s cut out of the page and turned into the badge.
2) It’s a good idea to carry on the background of your design to here in case the cut is a little off center.
3) This is a left over area. Nothing important needs to be here.

Rules:
1) Designs must have either an anime, manga, video game, or related fan culture theme,
2) Please avoid swears (as funny as they might be),
3) Please try and stick to the template format provided
4) When submitting an image provide two copies of your image in .png format one with the template visible and one without (if your entry is selected for printing the inner ring of the template must not be visible), all entries must be 500 pixels by 500 pixels,
5) This competition is only open to JAUWS members,
6) The rules might change later. I’ll up date this post if that happens.

Competition closes midnight on Friday the 14th of September! That’s two weeks so get cracking!
